Open Meeting Tuesday 2nd February 2016

 

Everyone is welcome to come along to our Open Meeting this next Tuesday.
It starts at 7.30 pm
Leila Jackson of T3 Wall End Nursery, Leominster, is coming to talk to us about her favourite subject of 'The Versatile World of Salvias.'
Bring friends who may be interested in joining.

Hints and Tips evening at the AGM

After our AGM on Tuesday 5th April 2016 we are having a 'Hints and Tips' evening.
We would like you all to write down about 5 gardening tips that you think our members would be interested in. Then hand these to Julie Alviti or e-mail them to caynhamgardening@gmail.com
On the night we will read some of the tips out or get you to read your own out.  We hope it will be a very informative evening.

 

 

Tips could vary from using old yogurt pots for plant pots to what is the best fertiliser to apply to your garden etc. You may have many tried and tested ways of solving problems or just good old advice.

Welcome and Happy New Year

Welcome to our first blog post for Caynham and District Gardening Society.  We would like to wish all our members a Happy New Year.
This Tuesday evening at 7.30 pm (5th January 2016) we are having a talk by Rowena Gale and Penny Usher on the National Gardens Scheme (Yellow Book) and some of the gardens in Herefordshire.  Rowena and Penny are going to explain to us about the history of the NGS and how it has developed.  They are then going to show us some slides of some of the wonderful gardens that are in the scheme in Herefordshire that we can visit this summer.
