Ian Thwaites is talking to us on Cacti and Succulents
Ian says
I have grown Cacti and Succulents since I was a young lad and the fascination that I had then is still with me to this day.  It was a hobby that I shared with my Mother and was fostered by members of the Spalding branch who have since become my most treasured personal friends.
This hobby has been an integral part of my whole adult life and through it I have had the opportunity to travel to some rather special locations and meet some rather special people.

SPRING AT STOCKTON BURY GARDENS - TAMSIN WESTHORPE

Tamsin Westhorpe of Stockton Bury Gardens is coming to talk to about Spring at the gardens.  Tamsin came to talk to us a couple of years ago and we all enjoyed her lively talk on Autumn at the gardens.  Hopefully she will help us feel that spring is not too far away!
Tamsin is Raymond Treasure's niece, and has now joined the gardening team at Stockton Bury. She has previously been deputy editor of Amateur Gardening magazine and Editor of The English Garden magazine. Tamsin now spends time in the garden here and writes freelance alongside her role as the Open Gardens Ambassador for the British Red Cross.
